Ode to Soccer

Playing soccer was the best, thanks for being so fun to play with. I loved it!I played every week for about 8-10 years every Friday night plus every Friday and Saturday night for five years. I missed the last set up for to score my first goal just when I finally got to play offensive striker and I was very sad as one of my last plays. I played defence, mid-field, offense and goalie. I also helped form and manage the teams. I most of the time was in love with mid field as you get to run the most and be part of the team that assists the most players to me. Yay! Lots of my life went to sports and I'm glad. 😊

Here is my ex-spouse and me, as I took the above photograph and was not included. I just figured I might as well show me that day also in the same uniform. Unfortunately it shows my ex-husband also in the picture, but that is okay. At least you can see what an abuser looks like sometimes, normal and like you could trust the him. You can't though, he is evil. Enough said.
