I love Unlce James radiant smile. :)
Check out the above link!! My Uncle James has a legacy of working and teaching as well as being a wonderful father and grandfather and family member. He always takes time out for his family, however there are also many wonderful stories from his life and dedication to his work and teachings. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful Uncle in my life. He is the sweetest and ALWAYS there if you really need him. I remember a really funny story my Mom told us growing up from his days at teaching. Uncle James would often be so emersed in his work that he would forget to eat lunch!! He would often ask his students if he had been to the cafeteria to eat or not. He was so busy he forgot if he had even been there. My son learned of this story after listening to his friend tell me about how he would just pick a friend to follow to class wherever he went. By the end of the school year he still didn't know where his classes were. He was in the gifted program and so I knew he was intelligent and there must be a reason. I asked his friend why and he told me that Christian had explained to him that, "Dude, if I just walk behind you and follow your shoes I can keep thinking in between classes." So, I told him this story and he felt better. To this day I still think about it because Christian often forgets to eat his lunch. We love you Uncle James and all the wonderful stories we heard about you growing up. We can't wait to see you again!! :)
While celebrating, it was so fun to go see the house my grandmother was born in!! I really love my family and finding out more about our ancestry going back. It was a great visit that we had here in Minnesota!:)
My grandmother is an inspiration to me forever. I am so thankful that she decided to have seven children in eight years. We have so much family because of this wonderful tradition called: children!! I love my family!! Check out this blog post about my grandmother (click on grandmother).
