What I wanted to share is that I really love my church. Sometimes I feel different because I believe in another abridgement of Jesus Christ testament which (to me) is the King James version of the Bible. I have always loved bible stories and also Book of Mormon stories so I decided to share one of each that I really love and that helped me become stronger in my life.
I have always loved the story of Moses. I was able to watch it growing up when it came on television. I was so excited and watched it every Easter whether or not my parents did, even as a young adult. I also love this modern version that was made when I was a little older...
My favorite part of this story (above) is that God delivered the Hebrew people and although Moses was raised differently, He learned who he really was and was able to give up his old life to have a new one.
I loved learning about the Tree of Life in The Book Of Mormon. It was so awesome. One of my friends that had just returned from a mission in Russia taught it to me on paper. He drew a long line with a tree and then told the story. Some people were interested in almost being in the tower of babel, but then God asked the people to be happy with special fruit He had made for them instead. It was so dark that they almost couldn't see so they needed to follow the line to get there. Thank you for sharing it with me!! :)
