I picked you to say thanks. You are always a source of strength for me. Somehow you are always an example to me with your special light. I hope you don't mind me posting about some of the people that touched my life for whatever reason. Thanks!

Twenty Six a true story about d.v.

Twenty-Six… Point two miles is a lot of pace. We were fledglings really, the five of us. Paula and Martin ran together as the only couple from our group. Georgia was up ahead the whole time, she ran two Iron-mans in the past and she can acclaim the prize of, “teaching,” our group of novice marathon runners. In fact she inspired it. Along with Georgia there was Emily, our dear Emily, Rachel and myself. We were friends from another sport I call charity or in other words we were a group of young adults in our 20’s serving in our local community through our church on various assignments. We enjoyed volunteering. Some of us were also part of a soccer team that we incorporated in the local neighborhood, do-gooder, scheme we all had going on. My sweet cousin and me (also a bff growing up). I am so thankful God gave me her as part of my family too.

She is gorgeous inside and out. So smart and also fun. I love you, A. Each side of my family has cousins that are part Native American and she is too. I love it! We are all the same amount just different tribes. Yay for us. I feel like I can relate so much easier with this special part of us to my cousins who are, but I love all my family too is also very true. I miss you, A. I am always here if you need me too, but you know that girl. :)

Flashback... cheer

Cheerleading days as a kid (me)... My cheer captain while I was in cheer was Aunt S. She was so awesome. She also took me over to her house for slumber parties since she had all boys for children she would explain. She would do my hair and make up or just spoil me on occasion. The woman in the last pic is Aunt S.. I'm so glad my parents were supportive of all my sports and talents growing up. Aunt S.'s boys were also on the football team we cheered for. So, we got to make huge banners to hold up for them to run through. One of my cousins even had to give me my first corsage at the end of the football season. We were also in the newspaper for undefeated as the Corn Huskers one year. It was fun. I also loved my cousins that were boys too. One of my favorite things to do was hang out with them too.
