Privacy Disclosure:
Due to the fact that for the last
year there has been a very strange occurrence, from a very strange man that hurt my confidence in sharing my story online through blogging, I
feel it astutely curing to write down a very small disclosure, “Please do not stalk my blog.” There, I
said it. I feel better and I know that this strange man, has no lawful right. When I met this man I
simply smiled and did not invite him into my life because of strange qualities.
Who would have known he would take it upon himself to
envisage that smile, at a public event, as a reason to stalk, ridicule, embarrass,
torture and hurt me?
If you are a stalker, strange or contemplating
strange thoughts, please get help. My blog is resistant to stalkers and does
not appreciate being used inappropriately. I have had this blog for many years
and have grown fond of it. I seriously thought about deleting it, just because of
one strange person. What makes society feel a bit scary is when things like
this happen and you actually find yourself writing a disclaimer:
PLEASE BE A DECENT HUMAN BEING
AND DO NOT READ MY BLOG IF YOU HAVE STALKER TENDENCIES OR STRANGE PERSON
TENDENCIES.
You can always go get help, but
you can never undo the damage done to innocent people and their private
testimonials when you can’t respect the Rules
Of Blogging (please see below).
RULES OF BLOGGING:
1. Do not judge: it’s hard to share stuff
(especially stuff like this)
2. Do not use this blog just to see pictures of
people - that starts to fit under the
strange person category.
It’s really about the message, not pictures
and what people look like.
3. Do not read a blog if you are reading
this and feel like you fit the strange
person category for ANY other reason.
Strange people are not invited (obviously)
and
maybe that feeling is God telling you
that you shouldn't read it?
I hate to write this, but I am not
able to handle blogging again without adding this warning (at least for now). I
want to trust society. I want to trust that people can share their stories. I
want to trust that there is more good than bad at every junction of mortality.
However, I just feel like I had the right to say, “Please respect the Rules Of Blogging,” for this particular blog. It
is my anecdote to needless suffering. Thanks!!
