Fourth of July Celebrations

Fourth of July at the cabins. We had a lovely celebration this year. I absolutely love to go, mostly just to chat with my awesome family. They are so fun to talk with. All the other stuff on the side was an awesome bonus. We are so blessed to have such great family around us!!
Let the celebrations begin...

Baby silhouette.
I love this precious face. I am so blessed to have the sweetest kid faces to wake up to each day.

Shirt decorating 101

My eldest daughter and i

"These shakes are to die for", gulped Pudge (the dog).

Pudge actually slurped up a lot of Abigail's sand and water concoctions.
 Sorry Aunt Bridget!

The boys

Lots of time to just have fun.

The infamous "Boat Parade"
Aunt Jana made wigs for the gentleman and lovely attire for the ladies of the ship this year.

Isabelle's "Betsy Ross" ad campaign. Will you join her cause?

This is patriotism at it's finest. Go USA!:)

Uncle Dale all decked out in sophistication and what not.

Two of the cutest boys you will ever meet!

I am actually claiming them.

Despite our efforts, the winner is... (see above).
No, we did not attempt to sink our ship just to win this year.
Honestly, I think the competition was overrated. They should have taken one more look at our cute kids!!

Beautiful Alana and Caroline's baby James
Lisa and Forrest out having fun!

Almost ran into a sand bar out there. Yikes!

Adventures with Alana. She took the girls on many great escapes into the wild frontier.

Katie discovered her new secret love, Kayacking (she spent most of the trip in one).
And still more exciting news on kayacking...
I spotted a beaver just within hands reach on one of our exploration.
If only I had my camera.
My daughter turned 12 this year!! She is one amazing girl. Matt turned 10 just to join in on the celebration. These two cousins are way awesome and tons of fun.
Sidenote: Isabelle put up with five big fun boys all this trip and kept up with them on everything they did. That's my girl!!!
