Abigail is six months!!

Abigail just turned six months and is just so full of personality!! We love her soooo much!! She is such a joy in our home. The only trouble with her is that she is too cute!! It makes it hard to say "no" to more babies when they turn out like this.... she just melts all our hearts.

Abigail's firsts: At 51/2 months she crawled backwards while trying to reach a toy in front of her (this is reminiscent of Isabelle who did the same thing at the same age, although Isabelle got a little more mad at the toy that wouldn't come to her!) At six months Abby has started to crawl. Only to items just in reach. She also can push herself up with her arms from a laying down position to a sitting position. She is pretty flexible (maybe we have a gymnast on our hands). She has begun to say "mmmmm" a lot when she wants to be picked up. I am not sure if she is trying to call for Mom but I like to think she is!! She reaches for us. She loves her siblings. She can be completely happy in a room filled with her favorite people (her family) and then start crying if they all get up and leave her. As long as someone is by her she is quite content. She loves to eat and can even feed herself if you count smearing baby food all over her eyes, cheeks and mouth. She likes to get in on the feedings though. She is not a soccer fan!! Perhaps sports are not in her future. Conan and I play on a co-ed soccer team and she doesn't like it one bit. She cries on the sidelines. This is practically the only time she ever cries for no reason!! Of course most of the other times she has me within eyes reach so maybe she is a little spoiled and a little attached. But it isn't Mom's fault it is hers for being so darn cute!!:)

We love Abigail. Thank you for letting us be your family. You are the best baby ever!!
