Jammin and the Fourth

We did some jammin this week with all the fresh strawberries that have been on sale. It was so much fun.
I started out with a friend who helped me figure out the ropes to making freezer jam. We ended up buying so many strawberries that I went home the next day and jammed with the big kids. Christian only helped for a minute because apparently he is too big and cool to measure and stir now, so I let him cook on the stove. He liked that part of course!
Just us on the night of the fourth! We headed to Mesa for one of my close (high school) friend's wedding. It was so great to get to see so many friends and family I miss.

Even though we didn't get to see fireworks for the fourth this year, I could almost see them going off around them!!:) Aren't they cute?
Congrats to John and Angie!

And thanks to Conan's Mom and step-dad for taking four busy bodies off our hands for the night.
Were so glad they've moved back from Utah a few weeks ago. The kids had a ton of fun!

Hope you all had a great Independence day also!
I am really grateful for freedom and thankful for all that serve to preserve that right and liberty.
God Bless America!:)
